My husband and I purchased SafeRest mattress protectors for all the mattresses in our home to protect our mattresses from stains and allergens. Our two daughter have asthma and had been told that these may help. The mattress store we purchased our beds from had these, but they were over $80 a piece, which seemed a bit much given we were buying 3 protectors. The material is nice and thin so you can't notice it's there and it doesn't make any noise. The terry is also nice. My daughters appear to have benefited from the protectors so far. We wash them about every two weeks to kill the dust mites and they fit the mattresses very well. We are very pleased with this purchase and wanted to share a review.

Naturepedic Organic Twin Mattress-Ultra Review

We upgraded all beds in our household to non-toxic ones (in Europe you can't even sell mattresses that sell here because the fire retardant chemicals are much more controlled/outlawed), and the kids got two of the Naturepedics. They are comfy, waterproof (food grade polyethylene cover), don't off-gas or smell at all, and very well made. I couldn't be more pleased. In case you don't know, fire retardants have been PROVEN in New Zealand to cause SIDS and if you co-sleep, please get an organic bed with no fire retardants! Read more info on the cause and prevention of SIDS (called Cot Death in NZ) here: [...] and safeguard your baby.

Laura Ashley 220-Thread-Count Peachy Fabric Cover Cuddlebed Review

I live in a dorm, and was looking for something to make my bed feel less like concrete. This product advertises it will make your bed "feel like a cloud" so I went ahead and bought it. When I received the product, it was not the plush pad I expected, and was instead barely over 1cm thick. This clearly did not do anything for comfort.
If you are looking for a basic mattress pad that only provides protection to your mattress, this would be perfect. If you are looking for a solution to a poor mattress, look elsewhere.

I didn't have to struggle to put this on my son's mattress. It fit his twin mattress great. The material does not seem cheap, like other covers I have purchased in the past (that ripped easily).
