Huawei Ascend P1 review
Unlike their other smartphones, the latest Huawei smartphone is aimed at a higher market and cost £340 unlocked and Vodafone offers a £26.00 contract.  Perhaps the best feature of this phone is the width.  At only 7.7mm it is still one of the thinnest smartphones around today.  To help achieve this, the makers have chosen a fixed battery.  It is also very light, at 110 grams.

The phone runs Android 4.0, which hasn't been edited by the manufacturers.  It comes with only 4GB of memory, although there is space for a micro sd card so you can top up your memory is you want.

The buttons at the bottom are: A menu button, a home button and a back button.  They are all touch sensitive and will light up when you touch the screen.

The back of the phone is glossy and smooth with  a bit sticking out at the bottom to help support it in your hand.

Overall, its a good phone which runs fast and is responsive.  The battery life is good and the screen is bright and sharp. It's actually a very good phone: 4.5/5
